Have any of you all ever done a dryer sheet quilt where you can use your scrap they turn out so pretty

You mean sew the scraps to dryer sheets? I hadn't heard of that before.

It is a great way to recycle those sheets!!! Just make sure all of the oil is out of them first. It can stain your fabrics :wink: that is why they do not suggest using them on anything but damp fabrics :D

just start in center of dryer sheet and sew until you have it cover then square it up to 6'' by 9''

you use used dryer sheet ironed them out flat then start sewing on them

I use to save my dryer sheets but now I use the four month Bounce insert in my dryer, so no dryer sheets. I use plain interfacing for strip piecing. It's dirt cheap. :D

I use old sheets that I buy at rummage sales. I can usually get them for 50 cents or a buck.

Strippy quilts or string quilts can be foundation pieced like that. Good luck.

I did the very same thing only I used the pages from all the catalogues we get in the mail. Free and I'm recycling too!
