Good Evening Every1 again,
I hope that all is well with you & your families. Ok, I have a second "dumb" question. What is a "MEET & GREET" ?????????I have many threads on the board about a "MEET & GREET". I had even PMed a member asking about it, but I never heard back from her. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help & comments. :-D :-D :-D :-D Have a blessed day. :-D :-D :-D :-D   ;-) debra ;-)  |
It's like a blind date....you arrange to met other quilters at a set place, date, time to get to know each other....you do have to put out-bring show and tell, maybe a fatquarter swap, etc...

Ohhh, getting "bare" on a blind date. Sounds kinky.

Hi again Debra, the "meet & greet" is for board members who live in an area close to eachother. They might plan to meet at a certain quilting event or maybe for a luncheon at a certain resturant. Just to meet eachother face to face. I have met one of the gals on here. We live 15 miles apart. We met at one of the LQS (local quilt shops) for the Saturday stitchers. She is a really neat lady.
Maybe someone is close to you in Texas and you can "meet & greet" eachother. Happy Stitchin' crafty_linda_b |
Its where a group of never met friends from the quilting board met at an agreed location, hence meet, and get to know either other, putting a face to our conversations on the board, hence greet. I've met a group of ladies and I've met indiviual ladies.I Try to met someone new when i am vacation away from home. Just post a note and ask if anyone is from the area you are visiting, its fun to do and you get to meet lots of great folks!
