I don't see why not. Try it. You don't have anything to lose. Let us know if it works.

Was it broken in transit?

yes it was she packed the machine on one side ane cover on the other so it was heavy on one side so it must have been dropped and the side that had the machine was not packed to well

So why don't you file a claim and get your money back? Including shipping.
Even if you have to ship it back, you shouldn't be out a penny.
The seller is responsible for properly packing up a machine.

I know I'm always on here beating up on clueless buyers, but that doesn't mean sellers can just slack off.
They have to be accountable as well.

Was it such a good deal that it's worth keeping a broken machine?
(and sometimes the answer is yes.)

Bottom line is you didn't get the machine you paid for.
If that's fine with you, then it's fine with me.

I would think that if you really like the machine and feel glad you got it - and assuming its purchase price was within your reason for the machine - try putting it in a cabinet or if you have a handy hubby, have him make a table/cabinet for it. Depends in how much value you have of the purchase you made.

The great thing about buying on ebay is that they want satisfaction from the buyers. If you contact the seller and tell her what happened she should make some type of arrangements with you; rather it is a refund or money to fix the machine. I buy all the time and the sellers dont like to have a negative or neutral comment about them. Most sellers if you contact them first and let them know you are contacting them before you post your comments or contact ebay they'll do anything they can to resolve the problem. This one is totally due to her shipping it wrong. Good luck with it.
