Isn't that the same? I grew up hearing and seeing Grandma making the Little Dutch Girl pattern that sure looks like Sunbonnet Sue. Maybe the Dutch Girl has a different headgear, instead of a bonnet she has a typically Dutch head dress. A quick look on the Internet brought up some interesting things. For instance, at some time in the recent past the Dutch cap was made from 2 pieces, not the one our bonnets are made from.
