Is this the one where your sew the ring to a piece of interfacing---turn inside out and applique to a piece of fabric? If so I did one years ago and loved it. I appliqued the pieces by hand as I was babysitting and had alot of time to sit and sew after the kiddos went to bed. I marked the quilting lines with a crayola marker and quilted it on my Janome 6600.

I did it last year. Very doable. I did a queen size. I adjusted the arc piece to use 2.5" strips instead of 3" strips, last I heard they were adjusting the pattern to be jelly roll friendly. I did spring for the quiltsmart interfacing too, and felt it was well worth it.
