My favorite is Disappearing 9 Patch. Quick and easy and it looks hard :)

Don't forget to show us when you're done with it :)

Are you going to quilt it yourself??? That's a LOT of quilt :)

thanks . I will not be quilting it myself! It will be the third one i have done. I have been quilting for 2 years. Have done simple block pattern. want to branch out a little but still not make it too much work.

BQ is a good pattern. uses 12 inch squares with strips to make larger blks.

My favorite is a Trip Around the World. In fact we are quilting a king size one now. Takes about a day and a half to sew up on the machine and takes a few days to hand quilt.

The 10-minute block is quick and easy. You can make a top in a little over an hour.

I will try to post a picture to that thread tomorrow. Just haven't taken any pictures yet. Will lay it out and take a picture. It really is fast.

Tube quilts are pretty amazing too! Starch the fabric to keep the bias edges from stretching :)

I love the D9P. So pretty and easy.

Are you using the 10" blocks? I've made 12 blocks so far and if I lay them out 3 blocks x 4 blocks, the top is approx 60" x 80" so far. And that's just one evening's sewing. It is fast and easy. No pics yet.

I am using 10 inch blocks but since i am cutting my own I could use 12 inch. I will do that on my next one. Thanks.
