Board member Lockeb (Bill) has a wonderful easy paper piece placemat pattern, they are canning jar placemats. They are my first attempt at paper piecing and I LOVE it.  Bill is also readily available to help if you need it.

Hey Neighbor! It's called Kaleidoscope from the book Big Fun with alittle fabric byAmanda Herring. It is 48x60. It really is just different size dresdan plates applique on a white background. I thought about doing one to look like sunflowers for my niece. Oh , how I love the Smokey Mountains! This was my first quilt top when I started doing classes. Everyone LOVES it!
