A few years ago I downloaded a tablerunner from the Timeless Treasures site that used a border print and with a couple of quick cuts you had the ends that gave it a unique look of "wrapping" the corner. Does anyone have this?

sry don't have that, but would love to see it.

I do not have the pattern, but I believe it uses a 60 degree ruler to make the cuts. you end up with a hexagon shape (two long sides).

I was wondering if you ever found the download. I'd like to make this runner too. Actually I can probably figure it out, but it's easier to have a pattern :).

Here is a table runner pattern from TT. Not sure if it's the one that you wanted. Yes, as quiltmom said, it is used with the 60 degree ruler. It is no longer available as a free pattern. It can be ordered from:

Love2Craft:
I have this pattern that I can sell you for $4. Please let me know if you would be interested.

Here is a tablerunner using this pattern I made just recently for the fall tablerunner swap.

Thanks- I do have a passion (maybe obsession) for striped fabric and the different ways that they can be used!

I took a chance and tried this table runner without a pattern. It's pretty easy.

From one meter (40") of border/stripy fabric I ended up with two runners. I'm not sure if I can post a picture here... so I'll post a picture in the main picture section.

I found a link for placemat free downloadable directions. It could easily be stretched into a table runner I think.

Yes, that's perfect. This template method would definitely be easier than the method that I used.

Thanks Gail and Gramto4. Good stuff out there on the net. This type of tablerunner works up fast.

Quilter711- No, I did sell it a few months ago. I have seen it in a few quilt stores recently - I know it's about $9 in some places but it is one that you would probably get good value from, because you could use it over and over again. Another alternative is to take a look at the links two of our members posted earlier. I'm pretty sure that they contain useful instructions without having to buy the pattern.

Jennie, Thank you so much for responding. I found the ruler on overstock.com for $13.95 including shipping! I am going to try one of my LQS for the pattern. I really like this pattern a lot and will probably use it many times. Thx for all you help!

After reading info on this thread, I looked for fabric to try this. Since I couldn't find any I liked locally, I made my own stripes, using fabric from my stash. Interesting how this can work. It is not as quick as buying the fabric, but fun to see the results.

Some of these 'free' patterns on a fabric website are only available for free for a limited time (usually one year) then the rights go back to the designer.
