The thread about our various occupations has been so interesting...

I'm curious about where we learned to do what we do. Also curious to know if any of you were where I was when I was there.

So...

Abilene Christian University - Abilene, TX - 1976
Bachelor of Music Education
University of Houston - Main Campus - 1992
Masters of Music

I'm really more curious about how some of you with unusual jobs got training for them.

I admit I"ve had some pretty odd jobs ( I didn't even begin to list all of my jobs-- I just hit the highlights)

U mean ur supposed to get training???????

I seem to just fall into mine ( usually face first) and figure out how to make it work.
I've had very little actually training for anything other than nursing and being a mom. Just wing it and hope for the best....I NEVER said I knew what I was doing on some of those jobs....... I just said I was doing them....LOL
