Electric Quilt Questions - Removing Section Letters on Foundation Patterns
 

Does anyone know if you can eliminate the sections that Electric Quilt assigns to foundation pattern pieces? If there is one section to the foundation pattern, they are all numbered beginning by the section letter "A". I want the piecing order numbered but I want to get rid of those LETTERS!

I don't see any way to add numbers and avoid the letters, but you could leave off the numbers entirely and write them in by hand.

I couldn't find a way to suppress the printing of the letters either.

Totally ooc, why is important to you that they be gone?
Just too much printing on the foundations?

You could remove the section numbering completely and then just write in the numbers after printing. If you're saving the file as a PDF, you could add the numbers back in before you print the PDF.

There doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the letters. I would leave them completely off and just write them in like others have suggested.

Thanks for your help! I create a lot of patterns to share via PDF and some I sell for a few extra fabric bucks here and there as I'm a stay at home Momma, and EQ helps with that. Renumbering each section can become a PAIN if it's a lot of paper piecing...but looks as though I'm stuck. Thanks anyways guys! :)
