A few months back, I got caught with that same bug. I had inherited some Elna cams for the extra stitches, so I became consumed with find an Elna that could use them -- for a good price, of course. I finally found one that works well for $40, and you know...I haven't used it at all. I didn't invest a lot, and could probably get my money back out of it, but if I already had three machines, I'd hold off. I don't like the guilt I feel when I look at it...
You are so right. I do get the "guilt" when I make a purchase that I don't need. Yesterday I went and looked at her and drooled some more, but I think "what am I going to do with her?" I already have a good machine, a back up machine, and an old Singer that I've never used. So, thank you for bringing me down to earth. It was $179 and came with all the original paperwork and cams and feet, but I'll just put it in my closet. And I need to clean my closet out already.

Do you still have your Elna and are you interested in selling it to me?

I just came across your post this evening. I still have the Elna Super and would like to sell it, but it is a very heavy machine and unless you lived close to me, I do not know how you would get it. I live in Michigan.
