My machine was broken so I had a repair person to look at it only to find out I had the wrong bobbin in it.

Ha! I did that too.

You are not alone with that one. I was ready to take my machine back and it seemed like an hour that my friend and I did battle with the machine, changing the thread and the bobbin - various combinations. Just before packing it up and taking it to the shop I found we had missed one little hook in the bobbin area we missed. At least it was a cheap fix.

Glad you found out it was something so simple.

I made a 45 mile trip to my dealer with my new machine when it wouldn't embroidery right.....only to be told the thread had come out of the up take lever and that is why the thread wrapped around the bobbin. We all have done some thing like that at one time or another.

Yeah I had that problem only mine was I had the wrong embroidery
foot on. Both of my embroidery machines are Brothers, heck I just
thought they both used the same foot.......wrong.
