End of Daylight Savings time means an Extra Hour of Quilting

Whoo-hoo! Got up at my usual time, then set the clocks back an hour, then went to the sewing room. Much more relaxing than the extra hour of sleep the media has been selling us on for half a century!
How about you? More sewing today?

As a morning person, early morning light is a welcomed thing. But the trade off is that it gets darker one hour earlier too.....6 p.m. here. :-( After dark I feel I can't see anything as well, no matter how many lights are on. I am not an evening sewer.

Yes, I don't look forward to winter, and as a New Hampshire native, I do not like the very short hours of daylight. I only meant that for today, I am pleased with the once a year gift of a bonus hour.

I was up at 4:30 (the new time), turned on the lights, washed my face and hands, brushed my teeth, made coffee and off to my quilt room - nice having early light up here in NH.

It means I get to go back to feeding the horses in the daylight at 6:30, instead of having to wait until it gets light at 7:30. Makes my day start better!

You know, I like this time better too and come to think of it I was feeling my fabric early this morning. LOL

Last night, as most nights, I started to bed just before 2:00am. Made one last check on my computer and noticed it was only 1:03. The time had been set back and I just realized I had another hour. I went back to the sewing room for another hour.,
