Enlarged Cardinal quilt
 

This is the enlarged cardinal pattern that I constructed after Jennifer's dimensions. Thank you so much. It will make a nice size charity quilt that we give to first year foreign students in our local private college.
I will be making more of these...seems like I was really enamored with the cardinal fabric when I bought it!

I remember the original post. I think your enlarged quilt is just beautiful. I also am enamored by cardinal fabric. You certainly used this one to great advantage. I know it will be loved by the person who receives it.

Nice Cardinal Quilt

I love everything about it. :)

My family hosted foreign students while I was growing up. They were always so enamoured with our cardinals since this is something many of their homelands don't have. Perfect choice of fabrics to help them remember their time here! PS. Our Norwegian student is now my sister in law!

Very nice--when I saw the title I was hoping it was not a gigantic cardinal. Generally, I don't like huge animals on quilts. Kind of threatening and creepy.

Amazing how different the finished product is from the pattern...I'm a visual person so I am really enjoying the fabric choices you made. It's Benartex Limelight pattern...now to find Jennifer's modifications. I'd love to make one of these with a Scottie theme. Thank you for posting and for the inspiration.
