I too think the medallion should also be enlarged. Would be more in scale.

Yes, I think you are all right.....I'm not going to get a very balanced effect by simply replicating borders to increase my size. Hmmmmmm, brain ticking along a bit here...thankyou everyone.

Your LQS should be able to figure it all out for you. I am sure they would be glad to.

LQS? Not sure what that is.

Ahhhhhh, local quilt shop....gotcha!
Now as luck would have it.....fate and all that...I've been given the "Quilt Wizard" program which as I understand it, is a very basic introductory version of the super dooper program you have all mentioned. I've had a look at the program and it is perfect for my novice level so am happy to puddle along with it until I am more experienced and then maybe invest in a more advanced program. So my question is has anyone had any experience with this basic program? I'm struggling to find how I can do a triangular block or pattern to fill a corner space left by other blocks. Is my understanding correct that this basic program only provides either 4 sided blocks or "color fill"?

Ooops, that should have been "Quilt Design Wizard"

Okay, me again...just had a cup of tea and realised how very daft my question was......by using color fill in the spaces i am creating triangles afterall...oh dear...it's been a very long day! Please excuse and forgive!!!
