Entering an AQS show

I'd like to submit my most recent quilt to the Des Moines AQS show (as it is local to me, and how cool will that be?). I noticed that there is also one in Grand Rapids, which is also not too far from me...

Are you allowed to enter the same quilt into more than one show? I know you can't enter a quilt once it has won a cash prize, but otherwise it doesn't seem to address this. The deadline to enter the second show would be well before the judging for the first one happens (plus- no way am I winning a cash prize...)

The best way to find an answer to your question is to check with the quilt show chairperson. It is sometimes stated in the "rules" section of the entry form too. Some allow if it has not been shown in one of their previous shows. Good luck to you on your entries, getting the critique is the best because it will help you know strong and weak areas of your quilting.

I wasn't able to find anything on their website, but I did get a response to an email (just thought sometimes here is faster). You can enter multiple shows in the same year with the same quilt. If you win, it becomes ineligible for the next show.

Sadly, they don't provide critiques.
