i have EQ5 and thought about upgrading. however, i've realized that EQ5 has done everything i've needed. if the price is an issue, try EQ5... if not, go for EQ7 to have the latest. i don't know how i could get along without EQ. i can scan my fabrics on my printer/scanner and use them in my quilt pattern to get an idea of how my quilt will look.
