I have never been to a quilt show, but there's supposed to be a large one coming to my area soon. Do they sell EQ at a discount at the shows, or is that wishful thinking?

I'm still learning...what does EQ stand for?

What are EQ's? Extra quilts? Extra quarters?

EQ stands for Electric Quilt company. It is a quilt designing program that is just excellent but veryyyyyyyyyyy expensive!! I like my graph paper!

Check several online sources for EQ, you might be surprised at how much difference there is in prices.

EQ7 is should be sold at the same price at all locations according the EQ company. I don't think you'll find it discounted by them at a show. Now on the bright side, I think it is worth the money. You should never need to purchase another pattern..... well almost never

Have you found a good price for it on the Internet?

Retailers are not allowed to advertise EQ7 or EQ7 Upgrade Packs for less than the Manufacturers Advertised Price. Or, they won't be dealers for EQ anymore if they do. This applies to stores, shows, and internet dealers.

EQ6 and earlier versions can be advertised at discounted pricing.

You can contact dealers (like us) directly to see what kind of discounts they'll give you on these products.

I have been to several National Shows where EQ has had a booth. They have always had some kind of "show special", even if its discounts on the add on software. One year they had a coupon they were giving out that you could take to the local shop.
Prior to the release of EQ 7 there were several special offers to pre-order at reduced pricing.. and even this varied.
