Until now I did not scan fabrics for using in EQ.
If you buy fabrics online, you can save on your computer the pictures of those fabrics you want to use in EQ (from the website of the fabric store).

I did this a few times, I uploaded them in EQ and I did not have any problem.

I hope this is helpful.

I don't have EQ (yet), but often put swatches on the computer so I can play around with different combinations. I have found that digital photos of the fabric are much better quality than scanned images. I also look for clips online (the manufacturer's website is a great place to start). :)

I haven't scanned the fabrics but I've taken pictures. What I do is crop the picture to 1270x1270 then re-size the image to 200x200 pixels. Hope this helps!

Have you called EQ for tech support? EQ has great tech support and will email detailed steps to a problem or talk with you on the phone which ever is best for you. I have used their tech support and it is quick and easy not like most places. It is probably a problem with the pictures being too large (in pixels) and maybe not scanning in jpeg????? A call to the source may relieve the frustration. Hope this helps.
