You can call EQ or send them an email, they will gladly help you with this if it is available. They will also help you with installing it too :D:D:D

tried this... they said the only linkage i could accomplish between EQ products and the iMac was a piece of software that involved installing Windows on my Mac.... they didn't suggest doing this, saying it might create other problems... so, i'm left looking for an iMac dedicated piece of software... hoping someone could steer me in the right direction... thanks so much for your response... best to you! anna

If you have EQ5 here is the EQ's answer to the upgrade to EQ7.

EQ5 users get an upgrade price for EQ7 which is $130 if they pre-order before May 31, 2010. Regular pricing after May 31, 2010 is $150.00. They have to order directly from EQ to get those prices because only we have their EQ5 license numbers on file to confirm that they have the EQ5 product.

If the iMac has an Intel processor, it probably comes with Boot Camp. Boot Camp will let you boot into Windows. You'll need to own a copy of Windows and Windows XP would probably be the best. (I'd certainly stay away from Vista.)

If you get Fusion or Parallels, you can use them to have Windows running at the same time as the Mac OS. I've been using Fusion and EQ6 with no problems. Software vendors will generally say they don't support it, but it works very well for everything I've tried.

There's a forum for Mac EQ6 users on Yahoo groups.

Hope this helps!

I have the EQ6 upgrade from EQ5. I bought a new computer and a new laptop, so the program is on our old computer downstairs. I don't want to have to install EQ5, EQ6, and then the upgrade for EQ7 to put it on the two new computers. So, I am thinking that I will just purchase the new EQ7. What I HATE is that they only allow you a certain number of computers to put it on. ( I upgrade my computer about every year and a half to keep up on the latest in technology.)

I never had a problem installing EQ6 on any computer. You can buy extra installs for I think it was $5? really cheap whatever it was. EQ7 has unlimited installs but only on two computers at one time.

I cannot find my EQ6 disk. Glad I don't need it to upgrade.

The price of the upgrade alone might pay for itself. From what I read, you can have EQ7 installed on up to 12 computers and activate or de-activate as desired. EQ6 has only three activations - and then you pay $$ for additional ones. That means if you have it on two computers and either sell them or have a catastrophic HD failure you have "lost" two activations!
