Equilter?

Have any of you bought panels from Equilter? They’re absolutely gorgeous but do they hold up in usages? Machine washing and drying? TIA

Linda

they are just a fabric selling business, panels and fabric made br many different makers. ive found panels best purchased in person, some are really wonky.
if not too bad you can wash/wet them, heavy starch, and block straight to dry.

quite a few times, they were one of the first major on line sellers. i think they may be owned by amazon now, but someone will correct me if im wrong

I have purchased from them many times and their service is top notch. I think if you read their reviews you will find that they are a top notch shop. As others have said, what they sell is manufactured by others, so they would not be responsible for the quality of the what is sold to them.

According to Crunchbase, they are still privately owned.

You might be thinking of Fabric.com (RIP). They were a fabulous online source for all kinds of fabrics (I purchased many home dec textiles from them as well as quilting fabric). Loved their swatch service, and their online fabric search was one of the best I've tried. Amazon bought them in 2008 (let them run fairly independently) but shut them down in 2022.

ah, yes that was it.

I have ordered many, many times from eQuilter, but have only ordered one panel and it was beautiful. In my experience, their fabric was always top notch and if there was a problem, they resolved it quickly and easily. I would order without reservations.

eQuilter has their own fabric designer in there as well as selling the expected designers. I love their work! Pricey but beautiful! They donate to charity, too. Nice people. I am not affiliated with them, I just buy from them when I absolutely have to have something they are offering and watch their blog because they travel everywhere! This is a good source for novelty fabrics, too.
