WOW!!!!
Just wondering...how long does it take to wash, dry AND fold 300 yards of fabric?????
You sure were in the right place at the right time!!!
Can't wait to see it all!!!

Rainybug 03-26-2011 04:03 PM

Congratulations on your great find.

how long will it take to IRON it all...OY...I do large washings like this, then just fold and set aside..I then take like colors, dampen them and put into a large ziploc(one of the super jumbo size) and place in the fridge over night...the threads will swell when wet and release the wrinkles, so I can press much easier...learned this from ironing the old military uniforms that were cotton...learned it from my mom who did my dads uniforms for 23 years....

mommamac 03-26-2011 04:09 PM

yeah for you!

MaryStoaks 03-26-2011 04:42 PM

Thanks for the tip...not sure my refrig is big enough.
have washed 4 loads...about 4 or 6 more to go.
Hope to count the yards as I fold...it at least seems like 300...we will see

earthwalker 03-26-2011 07:24 PM

Look forward to seeing pics....great buying!

sumcoop 03-27-2011 07:00 PM

Last load in washer...when all are dry I will take a pic of them on my two couches...and when all folded will take another. May not be 300 but I am tired from just washing.
Still excited though.

for that price, if it is all usable, and more than 150 yards, you made out just grand!

maryv 03-27-2011 07:05 PM

That is a lot of material to get all at once. You must have hit the motherload.
