Pulling up to the location this morning 10 minutes early and there walking back to his car carring the green FW case. :(
So I get to take home a 301A !! two tone, 1956 Yeh! No accessories, and silly me left the cabinet as I don't have the room. |

Cool, you got the consolation prize! I just got a 301 and recently gave it a cleanup with cotton balls and gojo...now to try sewing.

She does need to be cleaned and oiled, I will get to that later today. I will try to get a pic posted. I think I paid a little to much. Really wished I had gotten the cabinet too:(

You won the prize! The 301 is a much better machine than the FW. Gear driven so it's stronger, feed dogs drop if you want, weight is very close and they sew like the FW. I got rid of my FW in favor of the 301. Congratulations.

Go back and check, they might still have it stuck somewhere in the back. Or in the trash. That's been known to happen. |

Here she is, all cleaned up, and she sews beautifully.
I looked up a manual and printed out the oil points, and greased the gears. I now need to print out the bobbin winding directions. She (still working on a name), will joined her little sister Lizzie. |
