I bought this sewing machine 2 years ago and haven't had a bit of trouble with it. I oil it every week because I use it every day making quilts to sell. Last Wednesday I used it and it ran just fine, then then Thursday and Friday I did hand quilting so when I turned on Saturday to fix the hem on my granddaughter's Halloween costume, it was locked up. The hand wheel wouldn't move. Nothing would move.Anybody have ideas one how I can fix this? It's not thread, cause I always take the thread and bobbin out when I finish for the day. I checked the settings and they were at the right places.

Sounds like you're over due for and need service. A machine used frequently should be serviced at least yearly.

Have you had any storms recently where there could have been a power surge - just enough to mess up the machine.

Did you unplug it and leave it unplugged for 15-20 minutes? Sometimes this (and a little prayer) works for electronics.
