I'd like to do something with my collection of buttons. Has anyone made a wreath? Maybe on a vintage doily?

I seen one on a site one time. Can't remember where...I didn't bookmark it. They used cardboard in a wreath shape and painted it white. Then they hot glued all the buttons on it. I thought it looked cute.

I keep saying I should do something with my button collection also.
Martha Stewart has lots of crafts with buttons and I think you can find
a few here.

I love my old buttons, I couldn't part with them that way. But I might buy new ones to glue on a wreath base.

What about wrapping a foam wreath in fabric and then adding buttons and maybe other sewing items. You could hang it in your sewing room.
