I have a large pressing board which has a couple of scorch marks on it..."same size as sole-plate of iron....how do I remove them?" Thanks.

I'm waiting on an answer to this too.. altho I currently have a new pressing board , so no scorch marks yet.... but always good to know..
I know when I was still nursing WAY back when we still wore WHITE uniforms... to get blood out u just soaked the spot in H202 ( H peroxide)

UNLESS THEY ARE VERY LIGHT i DON'T SEE HOW IT CAN WORK BECAUSE THE SCOURCH IS ACTUALLY BURNT FABRIC.

a new cover. sorry...scorch marks may fade a little with time and extensive treatment (peroxide- blotting, more peroxide more blotting) but to actually remove them? cut them out and apply a patch, or buy a new cover.
when i bought my newest cover i wanted it to last so i started ironing a piece of freezer paper right to the top of my ironing board...over the cover..i use it for fusables, sprays, what ever, when it gets (yukky) i peel off the paper and replace with a new piece. now my cover always looks new.

The scorched starch may come off, but if the fabric itself is scorched? I agree with Kathy, it is damaged fabric and no way to fix that :(

I did use the peroxide on a small pressing -pad that I take to class. I applied the peroxide and then applied a hot iron. I repeatd this several times. When I checked it the next morning you can hardly see the scorched mark. I know it is hard to beleive but, it did work...
