Excited!!!

I am so excited. I got EQ7 from my youngest daughter for Christmas. I've been wanting it for a while. Those of you you who have it have any suggestions? I know for me it will be a big learning curve. What do you use yours for? How do you like it? etc?

I got one too, I watched the 10 videos to learn what the different buttons do, but have not done any of the printable lessons yet. But I did make a snails trail quilt and painted it with the four colors I want to use to see what it would look like, I am going to LOVE that feature!

I'm way more of a dreamer than a do-er. I'd never get any sewing done if I had a quilt program.

I LOVE my EQ7, even though I don't use it to often now days.

Congrats! I use mine all the time. Here are the ways I use it:

I try out different color/fabric combinations to preview what the quilt would look like.
I use it to estimate yardage.
I like to see if I can recreate quilts in EQ that I see online or in magazines. It's a fun challenge and hones my piecing skills!
It's very easy to take a trip to What-If Land. What if I added applique here. What if I rotated this block. What if I set the whole thing on point, etc.
