Try Jinny Beyer.com Her fabric is fantastic and in the $8.25-9.00 range and she ships everywhere. Her border bundles are terrific. She has loads of interesting free blocks and complete quilt patterns for free on her website. Now she is running a BOM of flowers. Its all free...

Just googled Logan's Patchwork. They have an online shop. www.patchworkfabric.com.au Not sure of the prices, but postage will be cheaper as they are in Qld (I think). Anyway all the other quilters here have been very helpful suggesting online shops I reckon I'm going to check them all out. Thanks people

That is very expensive for fabric. I wonder why that is.

If you are having trouble get a good friend in the US and have it shipped to them and then have that friend ship it to you. just a suggestion.

I've shipped my batik to several countries and I have not had a complaint. I ship priority through the US Postal Service. I would ship to Australia! I still have several hundred yards left. Email me at: [email protected] for more info if interested. And, keep looking for online shops - most that I see DO ship worldwide. Good luck!

I have a quilter friend in Switzerland and if you can get nice fabric then it is very expensive too. Her solution....
when she comes visit me she buys a lot of fabric, ships a big box to her address (with the shipping costs it is still cheaper). If she needs more fabric....about one or two yards I go and buy it and send it to her. Do you have someone in the States who would do the same for you ?

Yes, Sandy-lou, fabrics at Spotlight are reasonably priced, but what a small selection of patterns they have? Sometimes Textile Traders is a better option with even better prices!! WA prices are over $A$27 for variety of patterns and colours in LQS's

Hey Hobo.. Jinny Beyer fabrics are beautiful but cost over $A25 a metre here for border fabrics! etc - love her work and quilts though!
