Thanks for the update! Your quilt is looking much better. It was a very valuable lesson on what we can do if we have a bleeder. With the mottled background fabric, the judges will never know. Good save!

so glad the bleeding came out I have some of the same red fabric you have shown and will be using it in my next quilt for son .It's good to know I need to wash and set dye first.Good luck with your beautiful quilt would love to see full size picture of it.

Rachel, I'm so happy for you, and look forward to seeing the quilt.

kids frolicking in tub, creating agitation to wash the quilt! **second visual** kids turning pink!! Glad that things have worked out today ... and hope you are now breathing a sigh of relief. Now, please do show us the whole quilt! :) |
I'm so glad this worked on your beautiful quilt. I've been following this thread because I am not a prewasher and I have some of that same red to use in my next project. Guess what I did this am? Yes, prewashed that red piece. Didn't bleed, but I'm so grateful to all who posted their help.
Can't wait to see yours finished! |
Wow! I never would have thought of a Jacuzzi!!! So glad it worked for you!
