Which Fabric for the Border?!!
 

Working on my Relay for life quilt. It looks a little ruff because I haven't snipped the edges around the blocks---it is going to have a short raggy look between the blocks.

So what border do you think would be best?!!

I think the plain fabric is the best. The printed fabrics take away from the blocks! JMO

I like the plain purple best. Brings more attention to the blocks I think.

I like the plain purple. The others are to busy. I love your blocks.

I'm for the plain purple. It will set the blocks off nicely. The others are too busy & will detract from the blocks.

I'm an odd one out - I like the butterflies on black, especially after your "rag' the seams.

Well, I hate to agree with everyone, but I do. I think the purple swirls look really good. I also love the butterfly prints, but not for the border on this. It will be a great quilt!

I like your quilt, and my choice is the black with the butterflies. I heard butterflies mean good luck and the cause you are making it for seems appropriate.

My choice would be the butterflies on black print.

I vote for the purple.

The purple, the others take away from the quilt. Eyes move toward the movement in the other pieces.

Thanks ya'll I'm still up in the air. I personally like the black with butterflies. In Cancer, butterflies signify a Survivor. BUT the purple swirl has words of encouragement and purple ribbons which is the color of Relay.
