Yep - can get the same "deal" for less at my LQS, unless it is batiks - those cost a little more. I tossed mine to - felt good about it as I tossed it in to the recycle bin!

I GOT THE SAME THING AND IT WENT STRAIGHT INTO THE RECYCLE BIN. THERE WAS NO BARGIN IN THAT ADVO.

Doesn't sound like a good deal to me but connecting threads does have some good prices a lot of the time.

JoAnn's has their fat quarters on sale for 99cents each from time to time, so I would wait for one of their sales, sign up for their newsletters. I just brought 10 fat quarters that were Batiks to make a throw quilt.

I'm sorry about grousing about this fabric club when fellow quilt board friends in Europe, Australia, and Canada pay so much more than I do for quilt fabric. I'm spoiled...and ashamed.
