fabric dots
Could anyone explain what or rather how to use the fabric dots on the edges of fabrics?

They represent the colors used in that particular fabric. You can use them to select color pallette that goes with the fabric.

They can be such a godsend when pulling blenders for your project!

I'll be a monkey's uncle- lol. I forgot all about them and how easy they make picking other fabrics to match. Thanks for the reminder!

Also, there is usually an arrow or line showing you the repeat. Alot of us cut them off qnd make pin ushions or blocksfrom them. They're fun to use in crafty type projects.

Aso, much like food ingredients, they're in order of the dominance of that color in the fabric. For instance, if there's a blue, green, yellow, and pink dot, in that order, the most prominent color in the design is blue, and the least prominent is pink.

does this mean that whoever the maker is of the fabric (ex. Cranston) you just look for those fabric dots in that line of fabric?
