Have any of you seen the cute fabric flower in the new Land's End Catalog? It's wool plaid and cute as I can be - should be for 19.50 plus tax. Has anyone seen a pattern to make something similar? Thanks

I just looked it up. There is no way I would pay $19.50 for that. What are they thinking? I'm sure someone will be able to come up with a pattern.

I guess I will have to go look!

I saw the flower on the woman's dress but could not see where to buy the flower - $ 19.50 - I just bought one of those new flower maker's from a quilt show. Better try it out.

Yes, should not be too hard to make. Looks like about a 1 "strip of wool plaid with one scalloped side. Gather the straight side and curl into a circle. Glue to cardboard disk then glue a circle of the wool to that and glue on a pin. It looks like a raw edge on the scalloped flower edge. Sound about right? Ruth

(googled how to make a fabric flower, got tons of results, I might try some, just to take a break from working on a quilt)
