I am very pleased with what I got. I did order 2 yards of peacock 108 inch for backing to see, very nice fabric.
$5.99 a yard for 108 - great price on quality.

OK, well now I have to look, too. Those are great prices. I really just need to sew up some of what I already have, but new is so much fun!

We were there on Friday, the 7th. It is soooo wonderful! Good people to work with too. We bought a LOT from the wholesale side. Their backings are great.

I got some $3.99 backing...108" (?) wide from Marshall's. I love it!! It seemed to be MUCH better than Joann's backing. And yes, my delivery came within days, too. I'll be ordering from them, too, and have already recommended them to others.

Love Marshall's BUT it's not for the person that has no will power (like me) because you will buy way too much. They are wonderful!

I agree, cowgirl! I ALWAYS leave with more fabric than I anticipated! But I haven't spent that much more than I thought I would! LOVE that place.

I checked their web site last night and it is great prices. I then I had to find out how far it was from me. Ok it is a little over 4 hrs. from here. So I also checked out their e-bay store and they have good prices on there also. I will probably order online since a trip up there and back would be 8hrs. no time for shopping.

I ordered several yards of what Marshalls described as "pink gingham checked" fabric. When I received it, I saw that it is not gingham, it is print! The checks are PRINTED on one side of the fabric. I repeatedly emailed the company and explained the problem with the fabric (the difference between gingham and print) and not one time did I receive a response. I haven't ordered from them again. I often use small gingham checked fabric to make baby quilts. It is durable and doesn't fade with the many washings a baby quilt needs. Print fabric is NOT the same as gingham fabric.
