well, now, I didn't even think about that when I replied.
Of course if I need to make something for grand mouslings, all bets are off! Nana's buying!

I will go on a fabric DIET, but not a moratorium. I refuse to punish myself that way, I've done nothing to deserve such a harsh restriction! :D

lol, this has to be my favorite reply of all!
Just don't make rules that are impossible to keep and unnecessary
bc they reak of self abuse! :D

Just walking into the store does it for me. Or driving by to take a look see. I also have been throwing my mailing coupons from JAF and Hancock away. Doesn't matter they have same in the store. Have been pretty well behaved for the past 6 weeks though. June 20, I broke the 5th metatarsal so DH went to the store. What I saved spending on material he bought extra groceries. Was confined to wheelchair but not anymore. Going to stay home for couple more weeks. So he can spend more on groceries. :(

The exchange rate has kept me on the straight and narrow but so has realising just how much fabric I really do have. DH has always said I have enough to start my own Quilt Shop - I'm afraid he may be right.

For Fairy Frost I would break every fabric rule there is, I love that stuff!

It's sales. I can resist buying when the fabric is $10+ per yard but let it dip down to $5- I'm in real trouble. I have been really good this summer but the fall sales will start soon and I might be pulling out my wallet.

oh, I had/have a 'no buying, except what is absolutely needed to go with what I have!) BUT, I started getting MSQ's daily deals. hah, made myself quit buying later in the month of July. Now this is another month, sooooooo...........

One way I have been using up my stash is to piece my backs. I haven't bought a quilt back in 2 years. Look on Pintrest for ideas for quilt backs.
