This will be easy for me. I am on a limited budget since retiring so there is no money to buy. LOL. Even to buy backing is a saving up thing for me. I am using the material I have here at home but i will confess....I really don't have as much as some people have.

I'm in. My budget is limited and I have so much already. Getting gift cards to the fabric store doesn't count though, right? And fabric that's given to me? My sister bought me some in Guyana that she hasn't given to me yet. I make scrappy quilts anyway and usually just work from my stash, so hopefully it won't be too difficult!

Sorry, although I buy only necessities, I know I would fall off the quilting wagon way before November.!:)

I'm in too - I have so many tops waiting to be quilted, UFOs two of which are so near to being finished and 7 kits just sitting on the shelf and wondering how many more Christmases they will see!! and as for stash and scrap boxes...... No, I can honestly say I have no NEED to shop for fabric but it will be difficult to keep this promise as my LQS always has a January sale!!

That's a great plan! It's great you have quilting friends. I have several kits and a few things have done but could use the walking too LOL I bought new walking shoes instead of fabric yesterday

I also will give it an honest try!! I've spent the last three days cleaning out my sewing room and haven't made a dent!!! How does that happen? LOL I do work part time at my LQS, but am "losing" a day of work for 2012 as she will be closed on Mondays from now on. This means I have gained a sewing day!! Yay!! We had an inventory clearance sale the last two weeks of December and I stocked up on things I knew I would need -- still spent a good $500. I will go 3 months at a time just to make it more achievable for myself. I've been cutting up fabrics using the Bonnie Hunter scrap system, but have already started a quilt using the newly cut up and organized scraps. I hate to admit it, but I have 47 UFO's (and that's just the ones I could remember to list)!!! I'm depending on you gals to be my support system!

I am in, I made the last piece (table runner) with fabric I had, I will post photo when done!

I'm in (again). Another year of trying to work through UFOs and stash. I pulled out all of my uncut, unset aside for anything fabric and my goodness it's a lot (significantly more than I realized I had). DH is taking me to Target now to get some shelves to organize it all, but, yeah, I have a problem. I am going to see how long I can go without buying since my stash it out of hand
