Fabric painting
I watched a Leah Day tutorial on fabric painting a while back. I thought it was pretty neat. I have a picture that I think I'll enlarge and try it on. Has anyone ever done this? Please show pictures if you have.

I did it many years ago and don't have a picture. I transferred a picture to muslin and painted it and made it into a pillow. It was fun to do and turned out great. It wasn't washed that I remember. You just have to use paint made for fabric painting or use acrylic paint mixed with fabric medium. I think I also ironed it when I was finished. I'm sure you can find instructions on line.

MY daughter did this with the Derwent Inktense pencils and a fabric medium and the quilted around them. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t170734.html
I have used Shiva paintsticks to decorate a wallhanging and that was a lot of fun. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t223015.html |
