Fabric with Peter Pan on it...

I've been looking all morning and I'm not seeing any. My niece is expecting in May and has asked me to make her nursery bedding set. She would like Peter Pan but so far all I've seen is Tinkerbelle fabric. She wants peterpan green, pastel yellow, and turquoise for the colors. What I'm thinking is either doing solid appliques or finding someone who can do embroidery of peter pan and use those in the quilt. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There are a few on Etsy. You have to look at the description closely though, since some say they are not 100% cotton, are similar to a bed sheet, etc. There are a few that are 100% cotton, just depends on what you are looking for.

The one on amazon that QuiltnNan posted would be great. Possibly you could use it like a panel and work different blocks around with the colors your niece requested. Good luck and I am sure it will be wonderful. Please share pics when you get it done.

I once made an "alma mater" quilt for a friend. I made it in the colors of her college and went to an embroiderer to have a panel embroidered with the college's mascot. Found out that in order to have it embroidered, I'd have to pay a licensing fee to the school. I believe Disney is pretty strict with their licensing agreements. So, unless you have a friend with an embroidery machine who can do it for you behind closed doors, you might have better luck with applique. Hunt down some Peter Pan coloring books/pages and use them as a pattern.

I love the pillow case idea. Get the set of 3 and go from there. You can make a really neat nursery using the 3 different pillow cases as panels, Just a thought.
