That fabric release spray ----

Does the fabric release work a lot better than plain water spray for ironing? I noticed it for the first time when I was in JoAnn's. It is a little spendy especially when that money could go for fabric. If it is great, I might try it.

Not sure what you mean. What is the name?

I meant to say "wrinkle release." I don't know the brand name, but it seems to be the latest and greatest.

you mean the Best Press?

I know I'm in the minority, but I think it is the Emperor's New Clothes.

I find all the ironing aids to be better than just water if you have stubborn wrinkles.

I LOVE and use Best Press.
But in just MY personal experience I found that if I have really tough
wrinkles that just don't want to come out now what how much ironing
and Best Press you than I go to my Downy Wrinkle Release I spray let
it set about 3-4 minutes spray again than iron.

I tried this when having ironed an off white fabric only to find that NONE
of the wrinkles seem to want to come out. And to think I was thinking of
tossing that bottle of Downy Wrinkle Release away because I have had it
for about 10 years (give or take a little time).

But now I am trying to find MORE of the stuff because my hubs has now
discovered that he likes the way the wrinkles fall out of his Hawaiian shirts.

I'll do an online search for it. Thanks for your information.

I make my own Downy Wrinkle Release Spray:

2 cups water
2 tablespoons fabric softener
Combine the items in a spray bottle of at least a 16 oz size and swirl them together to mix. To use, spray on clothing and stretch and smooth to release the wrinkles.

Great idea. thanks.

Thanks for that recipe. I am going to make some to use if I ever have a wrinkle that Best Press cannot get out. So far, I have been able to get out my wrinkles with Best Press. Getting out wrinkles is all that I use Best Press for. If the homemade wrinkle release works as good as Best a Press, I'll switch and save a small fortune as I buy Best Press by the gallon.
