Fabric Selection Help, Please!!

1 Attachment(s)
I'm going to make a baby blanket for a coworker who is having a little girl. I have decided to make a DNP, and I have purchased the below fabrics. I have only made one of these. I'm going to use the floral in the 4corners. I need help deciding where to put the pink and green. I was going to put the pink in the center and the green on the 4 sides. But, I'm afraid that might make it too green for a little girl. What do you think?

I think green is good for a girl and with the pink in the center that is where the eye will travel.

I agree, Ithink th pink center is perfect & the green is a good girl color too

If you repeat the pink in a border or binding it will work out well. Little girls like green, too.

I think it would look great with either one in the center. You could also mix it up and have some of each. Maybe divide the quilt on the diagonal and have the upper left half with green being dominant (pink in the center) and the lower right with pink being dominant (green in the center). There are lots of ways to lay out the D9P blocks.

I think that whichever way you choose, you can't go wrong. She will love that quilt! The flowers fabric is darling.

I'm finding that green is very popular with little girls, even to being preferred over pink in several instances.

Thank you so much, I'm going to get started tomorrow! Personally, I love the bright lime greens.

Your idea works great.
