Fabric sheets with air printer
 

The ink jet printer I always used for fabric sheets recently died. We now have a 3-in-1 ink jet wireless air printer but I'm afraid to try the fabric sheets in it for fear of damaging it. Has anyone else used those sheets in an air printer? Thanks for your help.

It's still an ink jet printer. The "air" simply means it's wifi and doesn't connect to a computer with cables. I don't see how it would be any different than your old ink jet printer.

Peggi...thanks...I sure assume it would be the same, but my DH said something about the path the paper takes inside the printer. It's all seems the same path to me, but I don't want to ruin a new printer.

The path the paper takes doesn't have anything to do with it being wifi (air). You would need to investigate the brand and model of the printer to see which side of the paper it prints on and if it will accept a heavier paper, and how it should be fed.

WOW, new terms are always being invented. Never hear of an air printer.

The word air means it receives signals through the air aka wireless. Inkjets are so so cheap now, the printer costs less then the ink. I bought a new Cannon ink jet for $30 when I needed new ink, the cartridges were $55. I bought a new HP printer for $35 instead. I am on my fourth printer being cheaper then buying the ink. But I won't pay more for the ink when I can get a new printer that comes with ink cheaper. If the manufacturer can be ridiculous so can I.

I used fabric sheet in my wifi printer and it worked fine. I did run a test to make sure I loaded the fabric sheet in the right way so my print job would print on the fabric side of my sheet. Have fun.
