wow..stash manicure is a funny lady. Did you see the cute mug rug with a pocket near the bottom...very cute. Nice idea for tea lovers.
Didn't mean to get off topic, but... Thanks for all the great storage ideas! |
I converted the closet in my SR to all wire shelving (6 shelves) with the floor open for the stackable drawers. I Also have a lawyers bookcase that I keep my batiks in, arranged by color. The bags that window treatments or linens come in that have the zippers are great for storing on-going projects or whatever.

I have two large credenza with two drawers each, made for hanging files. I hang my fabric over the hanging files, filed by color. The fabric is easy to see/find. The four drawers contain: 1. Blue fabric 2. Red & green fabric 3. Neutrals
4. Large cuts (not hanging) View of drawer |
Mine are stored in the plastic shoe box size, by color or theme. I have labeled them on the outside of the box with painters tape. The larger amounts of fabric, like for backing etc, I store on my bookshelves.

This is a tute I did a while back. I store my fabric so I can see it and am able to use more of my stash that way. I hope this helps. :-D |
