Hancock Fabrics gave me a bag of about 40 fabric swatches. Everyone is different color and made of different material. They are about 12 X 12 in size. Can someone please give me some ideas on what I could do with these?????

Are they washable? if so how about a crazy quilt?
If not, maybe purses/bags, wall hangings? :D:D:D

I was going to say bags or purses, too. I don't think it will work with anything you have to wash much.

Cosmetic bags would be the perfect size. you could even do a lining out of another square.
Not sure of the fiber content , but Potholders?

Are these home decor fabrics?

I'm thinking of using ones I have for tote bags, wallets, etc. I will also use some of them to make a patchwork squares skirt for the friend that gave them to me. I may use some for a couch throw too.

bags and purses or i agree a crazy quilt would be great.

or cut them down for charm squares and mix in with your others.

excellent idea!

luggage tags, a scrappy rug,if you used the non skid stuff on the bottom. there is the kind you buy on a roll, or the stuff you paint on.

First cut out two more from your stash to make 42 which is 6 by 7 blocks. That is a little better size for a bed...
Then applique something in the opposite color on each square of fabric - for instance a blue flower on a yellow block, and a yellow flower on a blue block. Use a theme of flowers, or birds, or dragonflies, or frogs, or dogs, or cats, or little dresden plates, or Sunbonnet Sue, just for a few ideas.
If the variety of the kinds of fabric is too great to do this,
use them as sources of applique, because it is often hard to find that variety.
