Fabric tube purse
I went to a guild meeting tonite. A lady there had a purse made of fabric tubes. You made the tubes then zigzagged them together on the edges that way the purse didn't have to be lined. The tubes looked to be about 2" wide. Has anyone seen a pattern or a tute for something like this. She made it at a quilt retreat last week.

Sounds intriguing...I'll be watching the replies.

Here's a tutorial. Make sure to check all the links. Sorry if it's not in the right order
but I'm sure you can figure this out. It's close to bedtime. Good way to use all those scraps of batting. http://stitchintherapy.blogspot.ca/2...-trashcan.html http://stitchintherapy.blogspot.ca/2012/02/updates.html http://stitchintherapy.blogspot.ca/2...me-around.html http://stitchintherapy.blogspot.ca/2...f-options.html |

Ladies. You are the greatest! This was exactly what I was looking for. On the bag I saw she had made three tubes then braided them together for the handle. Since this was so thick she had finished the ends individually and sewn each tube on with a button. Very decorative. Thanks so much for you help!

Thanks for finding this, EasyPeezy. It looks like a great scrap project.

Hi MrsWiggs. I was at that same guild meeting Thursday, I just joined, so I guess we are neighbors! That tube purse was great and I'm glad you asked for a tute.
