Fabrics that have been Printed on both sides
picked up a few of these cotton fabrics at an estate sale.
regular quilting fabric weight ; not quilted. however one side of fabric has music stuff on it and it's reverse side has floral garlands. does anyone remember ever seeing such fabrics and about when they would have been started ? |
I've never seen those.
Only ones I've seen kind of like that are ones that were double knits. |
I have never seen that kind of fabric that I can remember.

I had never seen any like that til last year .... and there was one, just amidst all the other fabrics. Two sided and different colours and printed designs. Bonus!!! Of couse, I bought some!

I had some was a quilting cotton purchased at a quilt shop years ago background was a dark teal blue with a print design on both sides but were different from each other. Have no info as all I have left are a few small scraps..

I will but they are still in SUV.
am still tired from that whole day long sale and all the boxes to go thru. |
I Googled 2 sided fabric and wound up on fabric.com, http://www.fabric.com/SitePages/Glossary.aspx in their definitions. Double cloth is two-sided fabric. From there Google took me to some place in Japan that opened in 1999 and sells it. I know from this it is made but would have to do more digging to find more out. I remember seeing double sided fabric in the 70's but it seems like it had/or was polyester.
