I have looked at many pics of the 9 patch pizzazz quilts. They look like they would be fun to make. What fabrics do you look for when you want to do this pattern? It seems that a large print fabric with other coordinating fabrics are the best to use. I'd appreciate your opinions on this. Thank you.

Yep a large patterned fabric with 5 or 6 coordinating. I really have fun with that pattern cause you can lay it out anyway that appeals to you. Let us see what you do with it.

sandyl, that is a wonderful quilt...definitely has a water 'feel' to it. I am debating whether to use a water fabric or a floral one. Lots of animal fabrics that would look good with this pattern too........and wood and wildlife prints. I am going to keep watch for interesting fabrics.
