Thanks, I got my notice and started today. I really think there are some sites that don't have a bunny! And some are not available, but on the list. :?
My gift certificate was honored and I am getting the book I ordered even though I had to do it through regular email and not on the web site! I get frustrated with electronic stuff sometimes! :(

I agree with you. there was a lot I couldnt find and dont want to go thru every single fabric category. I liked the ones that at least give you a clue. Do you do the shuffle?

if there is no hint i go to the newslatter sometimes it is there---- the rules tell the shops to give a hint and that it should be within a couple of clicks ----guess they didn't read that

Tippy 07-01-2009 08:20 PM

I'm going to give it a day so everyone gets the new bunnies in place...

janedennis 07-01-2009 08:24 PM

I am only doing so many a day so it doesnt get to boring. I dont plan on buying anything unless I see something I just have to have.

I check for hints, then the newsletter, then their kits...if it takes more than a few minutes I skip them and come back later.

I'm going to give it a try this month and see where it gets me! :)

Good luck shop hoppers.. happy bunny hunting!

sandpat 07-02-2009 04:22 AM

I skipped out on last months, but I plan on doing this one. Funny thing, but I always end up buying stuff...hmmmm...wonder if they thought about that when planning this whole thing out???

I'm going to try again, got through half of them in June. Got a little frustrated when I couldn't find the little bunny. :x

Quilting Aggi 07-02-2009 05:07 AM

I'm trying to sneak them in here at work, and sometimes because of tighter security with our IT dept. I can't always get on the link.. That's my frustration!!! LOL

mommazilla 07-05-2009 06:01 AM

Taaadahh...I got them all except the 3 that are not available/working. If anyone needs help, I'll try & remember.

Just wondering... 'cause I don't know much about ShopHops... is it the same group of online stores each time there's a hop?

Do you hop just for fun (to find the bunnies)... or is it the sort of thing where you just plan on spending some time to see what's new out there?

And when you "hop", do you find new stores that you like, and add them to the places you shop at? Or do you always go back to your old favorites?

Does it take a lot of time to do the whole "hop"? And, do you usually wind up buying anything? Or is it the online equivalent of window-shopping?

Shemjo 07-05-2009 08:16 PM

I've only done one and a half shophops, this will be my second full one. I shop for fun, only look for the bunny. Haven't really looked for any fabrics, nor marked any specific shops, but do look to see where they are and if they are a brick and mortar store so I can stop and shop if I am in the area. I like to see what I am getting and feel fabric.

I have not bought anything on the shop hop, just looked for the bunny.
There are those who actually shop and that is the point, to get us familiar with what is available. It appears to me that there are different shops this time than last, but I didn't print out the list last time, so I can't compare for real.

This is just something else for me to do rather than actual sewing, :?
