The design is called "Newport Beach", found in a Judy Martin book named 'Scraps'. It's the quilt on the cover, in the top right corner. Instead of going with a true shadow design, I used what I had - the solid red. Here's the link in case anyone is interested. http://www.amazon.com/Scraps-Judy-Ma...0776935&sr=8-1 I was able to use the squares I had already cut out (and ripped out a couple of times). I also used the solid red for the shadow part, so I only needed to add the white. I felt really lucky to have found a pattern that could use the original scraps from my awful TurningTwenty! |
Sometimes the Moda's are a little too busy for me. I'd suggest sneaking in some coordinating solids to calm down the prints a bit.
