I always liked the Fairfield Low Loft polyester batting, but I canīt buy it here in germany any longer. Now I read about Hobbs Poly Down, but I never saw it/could feel it.
Can anybody tell me if the Hobbs is similar to the Fairfield or if there is another batting to replace the Fairfield? Iīm searching for a thin poly batting. Thanks!

I've heard that the Dream Poly is extremely nice. You might want to check posts about it. Don't know if it is available in Germany, though.

Hobbs always has nice batting, in my experience, but I haven't used the specific one you are asking about.

Thank you! Found a shop that sells Quilters Dream Poly. The thinnest is "request". Is this the right one?

QD is my favorite brand of batting, I have quite a variety of it on hand. Request is generally recommended for hand quilting, it's a bit on the thin side for machine quilting.

That sounds good! Thanks!

Saw that Dream Poly is twice as expensive as the Hobbs Poly.
Has anyone experiences with both and can tell me her opinion?
