'Morning, all. Carrie, when I see the colors in your quilt as I find the thread, it inspires me to work on mine. Today I will cut several hundred 2 1/2" squares in a soft peach blender. Thank goodness for the JT Shape Cut. That will put me one step closer to sewing my 26 blocks (2 for each of my 13 pounds lost). I will also eat well so I can "earn" the other 23 blocks. Sounds like a plan. Anyone else?
Ate well yesterday, if you consider my weekly Caramel MooLatte part of a diet plan. Thank goodness that was my last coupon for one and I won't pay full price. I drank coffee at home black. That's a first in years. One way to cut calories and the cut the fructose that contributes to chubby tummies. Love those flavored creamers, but don't like fructose. Sugar is fine. |
I lost the .8 pound I gained on vacation so that's good. I am still about 2.5 pounds up from my lowest weight since I began this thread. I am down almost 15 with 15 to go. I will be pulling out my fabric and starting up again soon.
Summer makes me want to eat lighter with salads and fresh veggies. I picked up lots of fresh stuff to clean and have on hand for easy meals and snacking. |
Opps I've let my blocks slip to the back burner and the idea is still there. got to get started on these so they can motivate me to keep going.

Hello everyone. I haven't posted for awhile. But today I think I need to. I am up 3 pounds and that is not acceptable.
So next week I will be back and tell you how much I have lost. Thanks for listening. |
Nana its ok. Don't be so hard on yourself. Unfortunately losing weight is a yoyo process. Sometimes it is down and then it's up again. All we can do is hope and pray and work hard to try and get it stay down.

Hello! I saw this thread & read a few pages a few weeks ago. I decided I would join, but I always feel compelled to read the whole thing before I jump in.
Total goal: 164 Down: 31 (since mid January) Guess I better get cracking on some decisions for fabric & blocks!  You are all doing amazingly! |
I don't know if anyone is listening but I need help! I started this journey at 170 pounds. I got down to 153.? and now I am back up to 158.6. I need to get back on track! I really have to start working my program again. Going to the cabin with my in-laws this week end but that's no excuse to not eat better today! Is anyone interestd in working with a pal to keep each other on track?
